Porcellio hoffmannseggi "Titan" isopod

Porcellio hoffmannseggi "Titan" isopods are a beautiful species that grow larger than 1.5 inches, and this is native to the southern Iberian Peninsula, Morocco and the Balearic Islands. They require a humidity of about 40%-50%, a moderate to high amount of ventilation, and thrive in temperatures between 23-27 degrees Celsius.

As with all isopods, it is important to provide them with a moisture gradient, a substrate that can retain moisture and contains leaf litter and calcium for nutrition, and to include pieces of cork bark and botanicals in their enclosure for them to use as hides.
