FAQs

How long do isopods live for?

In general, most isopods live for about 2 to 3 years in captivity, although this range may vary depending on the type of husbandry and care provided.

How much time does it take them to reproduce?

Isopods can breed in as little as a month after purchase. This of course depends on whether a pregnant female is present in the colony purchased as well as their sizes and age. Isopods have a gestation period that lasts for about 2 to 4 weeks which meant that every month or so, a new generation or isopods could appear.
