Casuarina cones come from an Australian native pine tree species in the Casuarinacaea family. The native range extends from Thailand, New Caledonia, and South to Australia. Each pack comes with approximately 40 cones that are 0.5-1 inch in size.
Not only are these cones a great for detritivore enclosures, but they are also amazing additions to freshwater ecosystems.
