Porcellio laevis "Dairy cow" isopods

Porcellio laevis isopods do great in a wide variety of environments. They must be provided with a hydration station, which provides a great moisture gradient, allowing the isopods to have a wide variety of humidity levels. They aren't very picky as far as ventilation goes, although you must make sure to adjust the frequency at which they are misted depending on the amount of ventilation they have to make sure their environment doesn't dry out or becomes too moist. They can live in temperatures between 21 to 30 degrees Celsius with no issues.

As with all isopods, provide them with a substrate that is able to retain moisture, contains leaf litter and calcium as nutrition, and include bark for them to use as hides.
