Armadillidium vulgare "Magic potion" isopods

Armadillidium vulgare "Magic Potion" isopods do best in environments with moderate to high levels of ventilations and temperatures between 20 to 25 degrees Celsius. When keeping this isopod species, it is best to offer them a high moisture gradient, where about 1/4 to 1/2 of the enclosure is kept humid.

As with all isopods, it is important to provide them with a moisture gradient, a substrate that can retain moisture and contains leaf litter and calcium for nutrition, and to include pieces of cork bark and botanicals in their enclosure for them to use as hides.
